We do not take auction horses and flip them as consignment prospects. Every horse we represent is a horse we have spent real time with, ridden, and can speak about honestly. If we do not believe we can represent a horse fairly, we will tell you up front.

At Stone Cottage Ranch, we are building our consignment program around one thing: trust.

We do not buy horses at auction and turn around and advertise them as “consignment horses.” The horses we represent are registered, or have an age that can be reasonably documented or professionally estimated, and we spend time actually getting to know them.

Our consignment horses can come with:

✓ Dental care and teeth floated as appropriate

✓ Pre-purchase examination by a reputable licensed veterinarian, at your cost
✓ Available history and documentation
✓ Honest evaluation of training and temperament

Live Out of State? That Is Okay.

We can FaceTime you while the horse is being ridden, so you see the horse live and not just in a carefully edited sales video. We can also work with a reputable third-party escrow service for payment, and assist with interstate health certificate requirements when applicable.



No Deposits to Get in Line

Our horses are sold on a first-completed-purchase basis. You do not need to put money down just to hold a spot in a queue.


