A Summer Your Child Will Love!
This hands-on 3-day day camp introduces kids (ages 6–12) to the exciting world of horses, ranch life, and nature — all in a safe and welcoming environment. Lunch and snacks are included.
Over three fun-filled days, campers will:
Learn the basics of horse care and riding with guided instruction
Explore the ranch while meeting animals and discovering ranch life
Discover the fascinating world of bees and important pollinators
Enjoy outdoor adventures including fishing, games, and team activities
Whether your child is new to horses or already loves animals, this camp builds confidence, responsibility, and a love of the outdoors.
What Campers Will Learn
At camp, kids dive into hands-on activities that teach horsemanship, nature skills, and outdoor adventures while building confidence and teamwork.
Horsemanship & Horse Care
Campers will learn:
– How to safely approach and handle a horse
– Grooming and basic horse care
– Understanding horse behavior and communication
– Feeding and daily care routines
– The role of veterinarians and farriers
– Guided riding sessions: balance, reining, and confidence in the saddle
Bees & Pollinators
Campers will explore a safe, enclosed observation hive and learn:
– Why bees are essential to our food supply
– Roles of worker bees, drones, and the queen
– How honey is made and pollination helps plants grow
– How ranches and farms depend on healthy pollinators
Note: Kids will not be exposed to open hives; display hives are fully enclosed.
Outdoor Ranch Adventures
Activities include:
– Fishing and basic casting skills
– Ranch games and team challenges
– Nature exploration
– Learning how ranchers care for animals and land
These activities encourage teamwork, curiosity, and a connection with nature.
Life Skills Kids Take Home
Campers gain:
– Confidence and independence
– Respect for animals
– Responsibility and teamwork
– Appreciation for agriculture and nature
End-of-Camp Showcase: On the final day, campers demonstrate their new skills during a ranch skills showcase for parents, celebrating accomplishments and confidence.
